I had the great idea to walk up a vulcano
And the even better idea to have a couple of drinks the night before.
We got picked up around midnight and drove a couple of hours.
After the first couple of steps I could already tell that this is gonna be hard for me.
No sleep slowly transfering from drunk into hangover phase we climbed up.
It took us around 3 hours to reach the top.
And we waited for the sunrise. With the wind it was freezing cold. Unfortunately the weather was not playing along and we could not really see the sun rising but the view was still spectacular and made more than up for the climb up.

It was a river as far as I remember. I was so tired I don`t know anymore :-)

Whenever someone say about volcano. lava and eruption scenes comes into my mind. but from the pictures you clicked it is looking so cool and peaceful. nice photography bro
you can still see at some spots where the lava was and there are some hot spots but mostly it is a peacful place

Did something similar in Sri Lanka (horton Plains) . Did not see anything at the view point but nice early morning walk with Swedish beauties and alike.
That is one great extra bonus. I was with a Swedish, too but a man so my motivation to impress was limited :-)

that was a hard adventure too..you really enjoy the day...3 hours restless climbing for capture sunrise, that express your own character... like the adventure,,,I was lucky if i were a member of your group..travel gives a lot o enjoyment if you take it so...mostly are not get the enough... thanks for sharing,sir @flipstar @upvoted

Mit Kind wird das glaube ich noch einige Zeit ein No Go bleiben. Aber es gab einen "normalen" Weg hoch den wir aber nur zum Abstieg genutzt haben. ( ka warum) Ist dennoch steil aber dann geht es schon etwas früher. Als tour wird es angeboten ab 18.
This is funny. My brother came to visit me in Wales with his friends and they decided to go up the mount Snowdon at 2 in the morning pissed. The same kind of adventure as you: they got up, they got cold, they got rained on and didn't see the sunrise, there hungover kicked in before they reached half way to the top.
And yet, they love sharing this story with all, like one of their favourite battles. Keep the memory and thanks for sharing the amazing pictures.
