Wat Pavaranivesh Vihara Rajavaravihara .Wat Bowon Niwet Wihan Ratchaworawihan, IPA: [wát bɔwɔːn níʔwêːt wíʔhǎːn râːttɕʰawɔːráʔwíʔhǎːn]) is a greater Buddhist temple (wat) in Phra Nakhon circuit, Bangkok, Thailand.
The temple is a center of the Thammayut Nikaya direction of Thai Theravada Buddhism, it is the martyry-passage of Phra Phuttha Chinnasi (พระพุทธชินสีห์), a sculpture of the Buddha which dates to around 1357. Bowonniwet has been a mayor temple of patronage for the regnant Chakri sovereignty.[2] It is where many royal princes and kings deliberate and served their monkhood, including King Bhumibol[1] and his son, the coincident king Vajiralongkorn.
