Hello fellow travelers and adventure lovers,
Today I wanna share with you the photos I took while I was visiting the city of Poznan in Poland and the city of Berlin in Germany! I was there last Easter and the weather was not really helpful when it comes to the lighting at least :D Nevertheless I tried to visit some really interesting landmarks in both cities connected with their sad and beautiful at the same time history. Let's go!
Starting with Poznań which is among the oldest and largest cities in Poland.
This huge construct stands as a memorial for the victims of the various rebellions against the communist regime in the country over the years and specifically the bloody 1968 uprising.
Zurek! (soup inside a bread bowl)
Continuing with Berlin, the capital of Germany featuring the colossal Berlin Cathedral Church (Oberpfarr- und Domkirche von Berlin) near the Spree river as well as the famous TV Broadcasting Tower (Berliner Fernsehturm)
The Jewish Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind is an architecture MUST
Hope you enjoyed and I would definitely recommend both cities (as well the countries) since they have so much to offer in the European history and culture!
Keep steeming :)
Peace out,
FlusterFive
This is beautiful. The bad weather notwithstanding. I would've loved to see more view of the memorial stand. Awesome pictures and thanks for sharing.
A very nice contribution, which I take with for "My Steemit Favorites Part 27.
