Its been a few days since the last time I posted about my travels around thailand, you can check the prior posts about it over here : https://steemit.com/travelblog/@flyover/looking-for-answers-finding-more-questions-thailand-part-1 and here : https://steemit.com/dream/@flyover/looking-for-answers-finding-more-questions-thailand-part-2 .
This pictures were taking literally in the first 3 days of my travels and I really hope you like them.
You know? There were a lot of times where people would ask me if I´m travelling “alone” I remember answering to all of them explaining how “When you travel with someone, you travel with someone…
When you travel solo, you travel with everyone… “.
Since arriving to Thailand suddenly everything seemed to appear interesting
in front of my eyes, I was completely captivated by the multiple details I
could be aware of per second, the time was flowing slow, mellow, like
honey pouring from a spoon , dense, shiny and so sweet . the air full of
smells and smokes , the locals and their fame of gentle smiles were partially
right and the sensation of looking like a hundred bucks ( or should I say
like a 100 steems) was real, In the other hand the
vast majority of locals where simply overwhelmingly nice to me , they
helped me in a wide range of situations and I will be always grateful for it.
Also, the tourists, that specie that really don´t want yourself to
be compared with, ok yeah, you´re essentially a tourist but well you can
clearly establish a line that divides the travelers from the so called “tourist”
the difference is not on the clothes they wear or the l but luggage you carry
but on the mindset, the main difference can be find in the fact that the
traveler allows and train his mind to simply BE THERE and let the
environment in , because when you don´t, when you simply
base your travels in making a few pictures collecting locations to drink , eat
, fuck and shit you become a sort of plastic human being.
(Here some of the characters I shared my time with and some other picture I
enjoyed taking, a brief
descriptions can be found at the bottom of this post.)
A human being who is so plastified that is unable to feel related to his
context, unable to feel how your reality is just one reality within a
multidimensional reality , how culture shape us in to different forms ,
and yet at the same time a reallity where we share basic and deep
common denominators , how universal is the language of the eyes, how
a “hi” and a smile can take you to the moon and back, and how one is
jus0t who he is due to circumstances and choices, basically that´s all you
are, that´s all we are; circumstances and choices only. Travelling, as I see
it, is a open gate to reinvent yourself, to grow, to put in practice all you
´ve learned , all the information gathered trough the years and
the experiences and then update yourself in to a better version of
yourself, one that refines you and ultimately dump all the residual
components of your persona, living behind the slavery that your
own Ego impose over you. I really hope you guys enjoyed reading my
thoughts as much as I enjoyed writing about them, specially this one post
where I feel I´ve really been able to speak my mind.
Here, a brief explanation of the pictures starting from the top left

applies for the 3 collages) :

Beautifully said, you hit the nail on the head.
Traveling can be the catalyst for growth, propelling you into the best version of yourself. The multitude of experiences and connections happen at such a quicker rate than if one just did the same routine, contributing in an immense opportunity for personal growth.
I love your line "Traveling...update yourself in to a better version of yourself, one that refines you and ultimately dumps all the residual components of your persona, living behind the slavery that your own Ego imposes over you."
Spoken from the heart.
