Let's travel together #37 - The Tăuz Burst (Izbucul Tăuzului)

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Have you ever imagined the heaven before? Well, today's trip we are taking together is about another mystic place located in the Apuseni Mountain from Romania, called The Tăuz Burst (RO: Izbucul Tăuzului). But this place is not less dangerous than how beautiful it is.. 😲

Even though The Tăuz Burst looks like a little corner from heaven where you can rest and enjoy the view, too little people know what actually this place hides. What you see in the images is not just a simple pool, but an underwater cave with a depth of about 424m and many narrow hallways. 😲

During the time, many people from different countries tried to access the underwater world from this hidden cave by diving. Unfortunately, in *2002 was a case with this guy called Rafal Garski - an experienced diver from Poland - lost his life at a depth of 78m, who's body was found after a few days of continuous searching.. 😢

The Tauz Burst was also visited by Bear Grylls in his journey through the Apuseni Mountains - cool isn't it? 😍

Anyway, if you get the chance to visit this place, I recommend you to better watch out where you put your feet on, as some of those little rocks you see could just go under the water when you walk over them.. A cool picture could cost your life, especially if you don't know swimming very well.. 😢

A little sad story in today's post just as a reminder that we have to be very careful when we get on a new place as the silence and the beauty of the nature can hypnotise us very easily and forget about the danger that can hide. Have a great day and be happy! The weekend is just around the corner. 😉

I am so glad you are sharing your trips with us! I wondered how you got there, is it difficult to reach this place?

No, at all. It's a simple walk through the forest. You need to cross two little bridges over the water and that's all. You arrived to this great place :)

Thanks for the info! I'll add it to my bucket list.

You are welcome! Glad I could help! :)

Really nice pics again, thank for discovering that places for us!
The post had a sad history too but... that guy died doing what he loved more, of course is a tradegy but at least he was able to discover that amazing underwater world.
I have been always a big fan of captain Nemo and nautilus so seeing sea or river underwater always sounds as a great idea (yesss being careful because we dont have to underestimate the danger of nature:-) ).
An... once again... its important know swimminggggg :-)

Yeah, haha. Thanks for your comments everyday! Really helps me a lot! :)

Amazing!

Thanks too! :)

I think this is my favorite photo of the day. Absolutely incredible shot!
We wants your success......

What you see in the images is not just a simple pool, but an underwater cave with a depth of about 424m and many narrow hallways.

I already got a little scared after reading that.

But I got really scared more after this especially that I am no swimmer.😅

some of those little rocks you see could just go under the water when you walk over them

But I guess you will have to really take some risks if you want to have a piece of that heaven. 😅

Indeed..and I know how you feel as I don't know to swim, at all.. haha

A sad story :( We dive as well but I could never imagine to cave dive ever ... it would freak me out too much.

Yeah..even the thought it's damn scarry.. I would love to dive one day but I'm just too scared of water.. it's my biggest fear.. :(

Romania is a beautiful country from what I can see. I would not dare to dive down there to scary for me. I did not know Bear Grylls was in Romania, but I know a little fun fact his father is called Tiger 😂

Hahaha. Yeah, I wouldn't dare too! :D

I love the shining green at such hidden places... You captured them in a perfect way! =)

Thank you! :)
