After a few risky trips we took together in the past journeys and a sad story, it's time to cool down a bit, right? đ
Vârciorog Waterfall is located in the same great area, Apuseni Mountains from Romania and it's a 2-hours-long journey throgh the nature to reach this place. Even though 2 hours may sound as a long journey - it is not. đ
On the way up to this place you will have the pleasure to admire beautiful landscapes, breath in and breath out the fresh air of the mountains, and even different kind of rocks. You will pass from soil to gravel, from big stones with little rocks inside them to pieces of rocks dropped right from the heart of the mountains, and then walk around a landslide. đ
After 2-hours spent well in the nature we are rewarded with this beautiful waterfall which falls from a height of 15m formed right from the Varciorog River. The area where the waterfall can be found is about 5 hectars and is a geological natural reservation - which means this place is protected. đ
I visited this place somewhere in the summer but if you will visit it in the spring or autumn, the flow of the waterfall will be way bigger and so you will admire the landscape more. I can't complain about this aspect as to me it doesn't really matter the flow of the waterfall - I even saw a dried waterfall - but it's important to let people know about this. đ
This is the journey of today's post, so take a sit on a rock and admire this great view until the next post! Happy weekend everybody!! â

I agree, 2 hours are an small walk and the waterfall deserves that little efford.
I like the style of a part of this post, you define yourself as amateur writer and I think in this post you have let it go a little more than in other ones.
"breath in and breath out the fresh air of the mountains, and even different kind of rocks. You will pass from soil to gravel, from big stones with little rocks inside them to pieces of rocks dropped right from the heart of the mountains, and then walk around a landslide."
This part is more descriptive makes richer the images, so... good job! and thanks for sharing!
Yaaay! I'm getting better! Thanks for your kind works and support! â¤ď¸
You really got the atmosphere there. I really liked it a lot when I was there. What I like about Romania is that unwillingly, because of the lack of governmental protection, the sites are in a pristine condition, which is rare in the central EU. And many foreign travelers I talked to, seem to enjoy this a lot.
I totally agree with what you've said :D and yep that's right, I got the atmosphere in the first second I arrived to that place. I always do when I'm in the wild places, untouched by the hands of people đ
As always great post!
Thanks! :)
