New Orleans Strip Clubs cited for Prostitution and people are surprised. Really? And they're upset too? Damn, do-gooders cry babies have taken over my city. You can't buy alcohol or tobacco underage anymore, you can't smoke in bars in the last couple of years, no more prostitutes at strip clubs, what's next? No more drive thru daiquiri stands?
We're a different culture, in case you were not aware.
7 out of 8 of the clubs on Bourbon were cited for illegal activities including prostitution and lewd acts but the investigation was carried out under human trafficking. I laughed my ass off. Leave it to New Orleans to be looking for human trafficking inside of a business rather than out on the curb.
I've been to most of the clubs they mentioned and I'm honestly not surprised. I'm more surprised that people are surprised. New Orleans strip clubs are as close to a third world country strip club as you'll find in the United States. They should just leave those girls alone and go after the real problem - the violent gangs that are the 'actual cause' of the human trafficking that's in New Orleans.
This about accurately sums up New Orleans.
Those strippers are there under their own free will and making better money than you or I, so leave them alone.
The strippers have actually organized a protest march. I'm so ashamed and proud to call New Orleans home at the same time.
