After four years, I came back to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, North Vancouver again. This time we came here at a 'not really perfect' timing. It was raining heavily all the time when we were in the forest. But that's Vancouver, right? This is another part of beautiful nature Vancouver has.
KIA’PALANO
Capilano has North America’s largest privately owned collection of totem poles. First nations culture is shown at the entrance of the park.
SUSPENSION BRIDGE
Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River.
I am always impressed by the amazing and beautiful nature in Canada. I know ocean so much, also waterfall, rivers and lakes too! When you look at the water passing fast in the river, you can feel the power from the nature and it actually gives us so much positive energy.

After we left home at noon, it was still sunny but the weather changed when we arrived North Vancouver. So we immediately grabbed the tea to keep us warmer :D We didn't need raincoat and umbrella like other tourists! We're gonna feel the nature!!

TREETOPS ADVENTURE
Treetops Adventure, a series of seven suspension bridges attached to eight 30 ton, 250 year old Douglas-firs. We are able to venture from one magnificent Douglas-fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 110 feet (33.5m) above the forest floor.
I like this photography so much. The limited sunshine and the rain make the rainforest looks so mysterious and like a fairyland.
CLIFFWALK
Cliffwalk is high and narrow and, in some sections, glass (very strong glass) is all that separates guests from the canyon far below. This part of the journey is quite unique which is not easy to find in other forest park.

We spend around 1.5 hours to finish the tour in this large rainforest park. In summer, probably we enjoy and spend more time staying in the park, listening to the sound when the wind hit the trees, same as I did four years ago! Ah! One more thing, the ticket is free if you are pilot or flight attendant. This is also a good news for me:)

@gladysmak
nice post! long time no see!
Thank you @leftbank:) Finally cleared my mind and figured out where I am now haha
I love how you're holding your cup of coffee on that bridge, so cute :D And those totems are wicked! Better than that bridge! Resteemed!
Thanks babe. Seems like I didn’t look like a tourist there when I was holding the tea😂
don't remember when was the last time I went to the suspension bridge, must be over 8 years ago.... it's funny how locals don't go to famous tourist sites ....
Yeah actually it’s not a must go for me too. I don’t like paying money to explore nature. But seems it’s easier for my sister as a Tourist to get there as I don’t drive :P
Wow, this place I been there like eons ago. We started from Portland to Seattle to Vancouver during that trip.
I would love to go to Portland too as my friend said it’s quite nice there! You should come again in the future :)
Portland, Oregon. No sales tax then. I think still the same. That is good reason to go again.
haha love shopping without tax!
hopefully healthy always for younatural beauty is very beautiful and useful because it releases the oxygen needed for us all, I'm sure it must be a fun trip because it has not been to visit it would be different from your first visit @gladysmak.
The feeling indeed was different from the first time I visited. I fall in love with the nature here more and more :) thank you so much for your comment :)
Looks like a great place to unwind and recharge your mental batteries :) Nice Hesse quote!
You're right @herverisson! We can learn how to be present when in the nature. That is precious :) Thanks for your comment Btw :)
I'd visit this magical place once. It's too pretty :d
Please come and visit!! You will totally fall in love with the place. And also it will blow your mind and inspire you to paint like a champ :D
Oh, I wanna paint like a champ!! And also fall in love. It's a win-win :D
What a beautiful climate, nature always fills you with energy, totally in love with Vancouver, thank you Gladys always with good post
So nice of you Carlo! I think I need to be more in the nature and recharge myself from time to time after work :D
you need a vacation on Venezuelan beaches
The fogginess made for a softly surreal backdrop for these shots. Western Canada is a place I'd love to visit, so many stunning views compared to where I live.
This is an amazing city:) you will have some quality time for sure !
What a beautiful landscape Vancouver has! That bridge looks spectacular! I would love to cross it. The nature from there looks beautiful!
Vancouver is really beautiful and its landscape is really amazing! Summer always is the best timing for staying here!
I went there once when my boys were smaller and it was so much fun and such a beautiful place and I recommend it to anyone.
