Last Time I Flew To Europe For Work - Milan And Venice

in #travel8 years ago (edited)

I can’t even remember when was the last time I flew to Europe for work but not for vacation. I have my own preference for my roster every month now - Short flights I prefer Singapore or Korea flights; long flights are Vancouver or United States. Europe never is my cup of tea due to the serious jet lag once I realized my body reacted so badly after coming back from Europe every time.

Looking at the old pictures, I found out my last flight to Europe was Milano in 2014. That was an amazing and unforgettable trip without doubt. I had my good friends with me and two more colleagues was joining us to explore this new cities - Milan and Venice. We were lucky because the first day of our stay was sunny and hot, so we didn't miss the good time in Venice. Unfortunately, the next day in Milan was another different story. Weather can't change our mood though - Nothing better than having buddies with you in a foreign countries and having great time.

Taking picture of this view is a must in Venice, isn't it? Gondola Rides in Venice.

We spent like around one hour lining up for gondola but we finally gave up as so many tourists there were waiting in front of us. Such a pity we couldn't make it;(

Another side of Ponte dei Sospiri. We are saying Hi to the people on the gondola!

When you go to Italy, what you should eat during the hot day? Gelato!!!! I'm not 'sweet lover', but I still like it except the chocolate and caramel flavor. Too much sugar seriously.

The next day only three girls explored the city in Milan and actually I like this place especially when I stood in front of the church with lots of historical details. Always so curious and surprised how people built a fantastic structure like Milan Cathedral.

So sad that the weather wasn't good - cloudy and rainy on the second day of visit, but it made the Milan Cathedral( Italian: Duomo di Milano) much more stunning and impressive.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

After sightseeing, of course we should have PIZZA to feed our tummy which gave our short stay in Milan a happy ending.

Thank you for reading it and hope you like it.
Have a good day:)

I´ve never been to Venice but loved Milan. Italy´s big cities and their arquitecture are simply amazing. One of my favourites is also Florence - which has a beautiful centre.
Enjoy your trip and keep us posted :)

I should go to Florence once in my life :) thanks for the comment @surfermarly.

Wow, it's like so many people are on the bridge taking pictures.

Everybody does it. The best angle of Venice.

Until people start bring a drone during their travel. :-)

Venice is a beautiful city
