Those centipede bites are no fun at all. . . got bitten on the arm while camping near the North Shore on Oahu when I was a kid. And killing them is an art. . . if you mistakenly stomp on the tail instead of the head, they'll do a backflip and try to bite you again! Fortunately there's no permanent damage, just another great story to tell. Safe travels!
