Oh thats amazing! Thank you :)

awesome

Thank you :)

awesome!! I went there as a child but I never got to see the pyramids because it was too hot >.< I'd love to go there again.

I went in January so the weather was very nice there :)

dayum! what a cool trip. i'd love to go inside one of the pyramids. wow.

I would like to go inside a pyramid when I am alone and in full concentration lol
But when you know that many people are waiting behind you and others already there, it feels like you just visited an ordinary room and thats it. Nothing special about it :( But I will visit again and hope to spend more time there.

Wow, this is great, I love travelling a lot
It's such an experience no one can afford to miss
I've followed you and upvoted your post

Yes travelling is one of the best things we can do! Thank you :)

Next time you take a visit to Nigeria... You won't be dissapointed

Yes sure I will plan a trip. I hear that it is a very nice country :)

Things worked out and you had a wonderful trip. Brave going alone though. You look good on a camel. :-)

hhh thank you, yes I love the photo of the camel and the way he looks at camera :) Sometimes I enjoy travelling alone and having all my time to myself !

Without a doubt one of the most strange works for me, the creation of the pyramids still causes me doubts, with the theme of superstition I do not know if you know what I mean, I definitely have it on my list for when I have the opportunity to travel . Although in your photo inside gives me a certain claustrophobia haha, greetings

Then you should watch a documentary names "Ancient Aliens ". They talk about the real builders of the pyramids in Egypt, Peru and other countries. You will like it :)
hhh dont worry. It is just an empty room downstairs and many people were there :)

I'm going to find it, it seems very interesting to me. Haha yes well now less I imagine being in that room downstairs with many people

Gr8 travel post @hanen. I love egypt and particularly the scuba diving but I have visited Cairo once and did many of the same things you did. The pyramids and the museum + me and my girlfriend at the time, also took a river cruise. It really is an amazing place. Thanks for sharing your pic's and experiences 😃

Unfortunately I didnt had the river cruise, but had dinner in one of the ships there.
I am glad that you like the post and thank you for reading :)

Oh my, this is on my list of things I really want to do. It looks like you had a great time.

Yes you have to go once and see that wonder! it was amazing! Unfortunately I spend only 4 days there and the traffic is a big problem. But I need to go again :)

Seriously--I think traffic is the bane of modern existence. haha. Hope you do get to go again--and maybe next time there will be less traffic.

amazing pictures! I've been to Egypt when I was a kid. I remember having a lot of fun! upvoted

I guess if you visit again, everything will looks totally different now :)

Good info. Thanks. Don't know when/if, but that was better info than travel agent marketing. 😇

hhhh yes thats why we are here :)

Good morning hanen, you'd like to go inside one, one day, in full concentration¿ Eons ago, when I was a hippie sitting cross-legged on the pavement selling bits and pieces, my flatmate created a copy of cheops for us both to do our meditation in. Not very big, as it fit in double bedroom, but an excellent aid to ambience. With dowel-rod from the hard-ware shop, it has a square base and an angle at the side of 54*, and with a little muslin or mosquito net, can be easily covered on the four sides. A few judicial cushions on an intense weave carpet, and one can make it like a north African desert tent inside, comfortable for contemplation and meditation or just zoneing out. Just a quick memory of slower days 😉 😃

Thats something interesting to share as a post here. I think many people will love it. One of them is me :)

I didn't build it, John (deceased now) did. Basically, as I remember (early 70's) he measured the largest square that would fit in his bedroom without the door interfering. Then, half way from one corner to another, he set up a string at 54* from the horizontal. The same at each halfway side. Then from the ceiling he hung a string in centre. And from this matrix, he measured length from centre top to corner and cut a piece of dowel rod an inch and a bit too long, four times.
I remember he spent an evening fashioning a tin-foil point (made of heavy coffee-tin inner-lid tin-foil) which held the four dowels. Then with it still dismantled he assembled it in the garden upon the lawn. Using a sharp knife he carved the corners of the square and the quadrants at the right length. Reassembling in his room, he tied the corners with silver-foil once they were each together. Mosquito netting was hung around three sides, and three muslin like sarongs were arranged across the fourth.
Once you've the picture in mind, the hardest part is to fix the point of the quadrants so that the sides are at 54*.
I suppose, nowadays, I should have drawn it all on TD paper, and assembled parts, then sold on internet as meditation tent, for new age hippies 😂 😇
There you go, someone can make some quids. 😉

The pyramids always amazes me. I would love to visit egypt one day.

Yes you should. It is a very nice country!

Thanks for sharing the experience.

I have always wanted to visit Egypt and see the great pyramids. Wonders of the world. Lovely pictures dear.

You will one day :)
