Hi my steemit friends.
Yes, Hong Kong features the most skyscrapers in the world but not many unassuming tourists would ever had thought that three quarters of its 1,104 square kilometers of land is actually rural and nearly pristine. Also Hong Kong has some 234 islands within its territory, most of which are tiny and uninhabited.
Several of the larger populated islands are Easily reached and provide an excellent chance for a day trip or even half-day trip to get away from busy urban Hong Kong and explore a variety of culture, traditional, communities, amazing scenery.
Each of these islands can be reached within 40 minutes by regular scheduled ferry services from Central Ferry Piers on Hong Kong Islands.
So my one of good friend in Hong Kong, he is very talented photographer and also he is rooftopper. he always bring me most amazing place and again we decided to go this island for a photoshoot and as always i had an amazing time with my dear friend.
So we took a ferry from Central Ferry Piers (5) on Hong Kong Island. It costs 32hd.
Yay! Finally we are here.
So let’s explore this island which is full of color and character.
Pak Tai Temple
We were thinking about to hire a bike but we decided to walk so we can have some beer at the beach :) beer is always a good idea !
We walked along the Tung Wan Beach.
Explore San Hing Street
Away from the central causeway the island becomes much quiteter and very scenic.
If you are in Cheung Chau, Don’t miss to try the vendors who set up food stalls in a small alley on the street market. My favorites are watermelon and dried squid.
It was a great day spent of trying new foods, snakes which this island is famous for.
I’d love to visit again and explore different side of the island :) thank you for travel with me !
See you soon.
