Hey Steemers!
A follow up from posts ONE and TWO, both of which have videos. Today, I have some cool pics of the mountain and the Magic Mountain ski/snowboard resort. Now, I didn't exactly buy a ticket to board down the mountain, but I did try because my friend in the fraternity had one. So my entire bill was 10 dollars for boots and a bloody mary. Haha.
Vermont Photos
This first feature is based on a house converted into a restaurant (barely). The 10 of us got there and we just left because there was no room for us, but the idea is pretty cool. Above is the house, a map of the state, and some history of Vermont.
Here is the building on the Magic Mountain where you would rent skis or have a drink. It is a really nice resort, but you can make your trip a little cheaper probably. I honestly just borrowed a snowboard that my friend had and practiced for my first time. I can't wait to do it again because I am not so bad at it.
Here is my sweaty self after trying to snowboard. It was awesome. Here are some tips:
- You are going to fall, it's okay!
- Stand up fast or you are not going to stand up at all!
- Do not go down a slope unless you have tried a baby hill first (or you will be walking down it like all of my friends).
- Have fun or don't do it!

Looks like fun. I grew up in that neck of the woods. I'm not sure I miss winter, but I miss playing in it, if that makes any sense at all.
It makes total sense. Haha. I really wanted to sled down the road because it was quite steep, but my friends were too worried about getting cold. Snowboarding was a trip though! Made it down the bunny hill without falling the last time I did it. Lol. I would totally do it again!
