My Journey to Surabaya Mangrove Forest
Pendopo Surabaya Mangrove Forest
Yesterday, I went to Surabaya Mangrove with 100 cc motorcycle that I have. That place located on Raya (Rungkut) Wonorejo, Surabaya City-East Javas. This place was build in 2010 when Bambang D.H. era as Major of Surabaya City. The purpose of this place in the beginning as to prevent erosion but later, many people come to this place for recreation and taking pre-wedding photo. Then the surabaya city government decide it make this place as one of tourism destination.
When I went inside this location, there is Pendopo building (Javanese pavilion model) front of this site and at the left of Pendopo there is motorcycle parking slot and culinary place. This culinary place closed due to fasting month event (Ramadhan).
Culinary center on the left site PendopoThen I continued to go inside first part of Surabaya Mangrove Forest, and step on path made from wooden stuff. Right of this place there are place to keep small boats which use for water tour crossing Surabaya Mangrove river.

Jogging Track

After, I had went and looked around first part Surabaya Mangrove Forest, I walked to right side around 250 Meters and found Jogging Track. This jogging track has more or less 500 Meters length. I think this place more interesting than first one. Then I saw two monkeys near that gate, but sadly one of them can not walk because he leg paralyzed. Surabaya city goverment also provide Surabaya Mangrove river tour, and there is a dock not far from gate. Tourist who want take river tour paid around Rp. 25.000,- for adult and Rp. 15.000,- for children.

Ticketing BothThere is ticketing both and tourist have to pay Rp. 5000,- if want to continue go to inside jogging park. After I paid it, I stepped inside to Jogging Track. These are picture of inside Jogging Track.

Kemarin, saya pergi ke Surabaya Mangrove dengan motor 100 cc yang saya miliki. Tempat itu terletak di Raya (Rungkut) Wonorejo, Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Tempat ini dibangun pada tahun 2010 saat era Bambang D.H. sebagai Wali Kota Surabaya. Tujuan tempat ini pada awalnya untuk mencegah erosi tapi kemudian, banyak orang datang ke tempat ini untuk rekreasi dan mengambil foto pre-wedding. Kemudian pemerintah kota surabaya memutuskan menjadikan tempat ini sebagai salah satu tujuan wisata.
Saat masuk ke lokasi ini, ada bangunan Pendopo (model paviliun Jawa) di depan situs ini dan di sebelah kiri Pendopo ada tempat parkir motor dan tempat kuliner. Tempat kuliner ini ditutup karena acara bulan puasa (Ramadhan).
Pusat Jajajan Surabaya Mangrove Kemudian saya terus masuk ke bagian pertama Hutan Mangrove Surabaya, dan melangkah di jalur yang terbuat dari bahan kayu. Sebelah kanan dari tempat ini ada tempat untuk menyimpan perahu kecil yang digunakan untuk wisata air melintasi sungai Mangrove Surabaya.

Setelah itu, saya telah pergi dan melihat-lihat hutan bakau Surabaya bagian pertama, saya berjalan ke sisi kanan sekitar 250 Meter dan menemukan Jogging Track. Lintasan jogging ini memiliki panjang kurang lebih 500 Meter. Saya pikir tempat ini lebih menarik daripada yang pertama. Lalu saya melihat dua monyet di dekat gerbang itu, tapi sayangnya salah satu dari mereka tidak bisa berjalan karena kakinya lumpuh. Pemerintah kota Surabaya juga menyediakan wisata sungai Mangrove Surabaya, dan ada dermaga yang tidak jauh dari gerbang. Wisatawan yang ingin mengambil wisata sungai membayar sekitar Rp. 25.000, - untuk dewasa dan Rp. 15.000, - untuk anak-anak.

What a beautiful trip. Thank you for sharing with everyone. I need learn how to do format of pictures side by side. I liked that. And I liked seeing this post in different language. This was a nice visit and it looks like traffic wasn't so bad out in the country. :)
