Introduction:

The Munlai is a mesmerizing two-hour ride from Bandarban will takes to the Munlai. A tranquil village of 54 Bawm Households. The spectacular setting amidst hills and the river Sangu, lets you experience the exquisite lifestyle of the Bawm community through homestay and culinary expedition, thrilling treks, kayaking, country’s longest zip-line and many other adventures.

Natural Attractions:

The hill tracts and valleys of Munlai blow your mind away. You can enjoy the clouds from the summit of the mountains of Munlai. Underneath the mountain the Sangu river flows to the Karnaphuli the mothe river of it. You can see the fish outside of the river. And the tribal boat riding will give the feel of purity. The Animals of diversity of Munlai is so eye-catching.

Accommodation:

The houses and rooms of Munlai is made of Bamboo and Soil. You can feel the tribal art over fences of the room. The accommodation is operated by the local tourism authority of Bangladesh. The Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry of Bangladesh. This is the first tourist spot that can be booked online. The Booking link is: www.munlai.com.bd.

Transportation:

For Local Tourists: There is Road, Air and Rail service available from Dhaka. The bus service is direct to Bandarban from Dhaka. It will cost BDT. 450 per person. From Bandarban to Munlai is a two hour journey by passenger jeep. Locally it is called Chander Gari. For a Jeep it will cost BDT. 2000 to Munlai from Bandarban.

By air from Dhaka Airport to Chattogram International Airport is a 35 mins journey. It will cost BDT. 3500 average per person. From Chattogram to Bandarban is three hour bus journey. And the journey will cost almost about BDT. 180 per person. From Bandarban it same as the Chander Gari service.

Railway is currently shutted down because of repairing.

For international Tourists: Tourists can came directly to Dhaka or Chattogram international airport from anywhere in the world, where the destination available. From Dhaka or Chattogram it is same as local tourist service.
