Whewww-ey, it's good to be back home in luscious Bali! I landed just in time for the rainy season to be sneaking away over yonder, sunshine-filled days ahead! I had a great trip however I just about knocked myself out on steamed white rice and blazing hot sunshine in Maldives for the two and a half weeks I was there gallivanting so I basically have been in a deep, heavy hibernation for a few days after getting back.
My trip turned out to be a dream (though not in the way you'd think!) but getting back home... more of a nightmare. (I'll share more about that later but first, let me share the gorgeous sky with you!)
Here's me just nonchalantly harnessing the power of the sun (NBD) 😉
Before the powerhouse of beauty brightened up the sky, I had to put in the time, waiting for it to arrive. I find that it's hard to get up and convince myself to go out that early (I'm more of a nocturnal creature) but whenever the sun comes out to play, it infuses me with tons of energy and all of a sudden I am ready to take on whatever comes at me! It's a truly positive way to start the day off on a good note! I really believe that the sun has healing powers and I hope the healing transfers to you here on your screen :)
The feeling of euphoric excitement when the sun breaks the horizon and starts to paint the sky with color!
Gorgeous isn't it? I know I can't get enough, I just love sitting there, staring up at the magnificence and feeling the heat enter my body.
Close your eyes and feel the rays hugging your skin! Sending you love from me to you!
If we wake up with positive action and thoughts, we can change the course of our day.
This one small action has dramatically decreased my anxiety. I inhale and exhale, becoming aware of my breath and pairing it with the sounds and sights around me. Nature has a gentle way of calming and soothing and in these moments, bliss takes me over.

So, now that I'm home I have some fun coming up. For starters, I have so much drone footage, I don't even know how to manage my time to be able to watch it all! I am also happy to announce that I met some lovely people along the way who we should be seeing around the Steemit-verse soon! Spreading the word about Steemit, is always a great idea! Which drone do you have? They're getting more advanced by the year. Can't wait to see what Bali is like with a drone view. Bali is quite the hotspot for many travelers I hear.
Hey @kevbot Bali is definitely a traveler's hot spot with it's beaches and rice fields everywhere! I've taken it out a couple of times here but I have only had it for a few months so am still getting used to it. It's a Mavic Pro, was the best model at the time for the price range, but you're right, it's always advancing so I have no idea where it stands now, not even half a year later ;) I can say that it delivers incredible imagery and is super fun to play with though :) I just have to figure out the whole video thing on here next ;)
i have a mavic pro too! There were so many upgrades afterwards. It's smaller now with the air but i sitll think the mavic pro is the best high quality drone.
To be honest I haven't looked into the upgrades at all -_- haha I think ours does a pretty good job! I feel like sometimes my videos are a bit choppy but it's all about learning how to fly it. I also flew it pretty high and far on a really hot day and it hated that and came flying back into a bush so, keep watch for temperature haha I was super lucky no damage occured! 💖
I have my insurance on it.. It has bugged on me several times and dropped from the sky in the middle of the night at once haha.
I like my drone but blockchain tech has been more fascinating.

I'm really glad to see you are back. I was becoming nervous about the political situation in the Maldives and the fact that you seemed to be awol. I get the hibernation, I do it myself. For at least a day or two...

It was actually taken in Maldives! I'm from Canada but I live in Bali, Indonesia haha so, this was just a trip I was on ;)
