A weekend in Paris - part one

in #travel7 years ago

This weekend me and a friend went to Paris. There is so much to discover, and I fell in love with this beautiul city. The first day we went for a walk around Notre-Dame, the area Les Marais, Montmartre, Sacré-Cœur and Moulin Rouge.

When we where outside of Notre-Dame, I discovered that my camera was almost out of battery and of course I forgot my charger back in Oslo. Most of the pictures are taken with my Iphone, so the quality varies a bit.

Notre-Dame is a magnificent building, with so many details that I could have walked around it and studied the art for hours.

Its interesting to see the devil apperar next to angels.

Also gargoyles and chimeras are placed around the outside of the building

Sacré-Cœur is on a height, and you get a fantastic view over the city when you go up there.

Nice to see pictures from your trip to Paris. Maybe Monica invite me some day.:-) Its fun to walk and look around :

Its fun to share it on Steemit, especially with family :D I think Paris is perfect for you two, and there is so much you can take pictures of :D

That is wonderful pick inside of your journey. I was very amazed how people in old time could create such detailed architecture, as every piece is telling a story and everything is harmonically matching to each other. That is a real treasure that the society have and depsite the problem with your camera, thank the quality of modern smart phones we still can capture the beauty of such historical places with those cameras too.

Enjoy your holiday Helle!
