Eco Volontariat trip to Belize

Hi guys I want to share with you my experience on traveling to Belize (tiny country with border with Mexico)
Since couple of years, I become more fun about travelling for a purpose! means instead of traveling to stay on resorts and be stack their with all turists, the idea is to go to visit a country, to stay with locals and to bring added value to the community...
For this reason I choose to go in scientific expedition with BleuVenture to Belize to

Discover the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere .

Help to collect critical marine inventory data with science and dive professionals in a UNESCO World Heritage listed Marine Reserve and National Park.

Learn to identify the Stoplight parrotfish, spot a colourful Flamingo tongue feasting on a Sea fan’s tiny polyps and navigate your way between diverse corals whilst living on a remote palm dotted island, washed by the turquoise shimmering waters of the Caribbean Sea, which are full of charismatic species such as turtles, rays, moray eels and dolphins.

Investigating the impact of lionfish on the reef and on juvenile reef fish as this invasive species has no native predators outside its original home in the Indo-Pacific and therefore poses a huge threat to Belize’s reef fisheries.

Up of all of that, all memories and meeting new people around the world from Mexico, Morocco, UK, France, Switzerland, Germany and more give me more relief about this experience..
