As a little update on my blog, I would let you guys know I will be going off the grid for the next three days.
why? I will be hitting the trail and hike through some mountains in Romania. Given I will not be eaten by bears and vampires, or fall off a cliff the route should be around 70 km and take me 3 days total (two nights sleeping in my hammock)
Of course, I will let you guys experience it all as well!
It is my hope to record and document the whole trail from the beginning to the end both by video and photographs. I am soloing this one and I have not hiked for almost two years so I think I will have to get used to it once again. Surely I am used to outdoor activity because of my constant tour cycling but yet, different!
Actually, it was hiking that initially lead me to become a touring cyclist. So it feels good going back to the roots of what not only became my hobby but almost a lifestyle.
The Route should be one of the difficult hiking trails in Romania so I am sure it is gonna be a blast witnessing my first "longer" hike here in Romania, Transylvania and the epic mountain ranges.
While being in the wild, posts will still keep coming!
Since I started using steempeak I am also trying out its features such as schedueld posting.
It is kind of an experiment of mine to see how that works out and if I will use it even more in the future. Of course, I probably cannot always comment instantly but we will see how it turns out. In the article, I will write a small note telling if the post is scheduled posted or not.
Isn't it lovely how our beloved steem blockchain keep evolving for making life for bloggers just a little easier? I certainly love it!
Wish me luck!

Oh wow...so how close are you to Dracula's castle?
Good luck! Will follow you closely on Steemit. I couldn't see very good where's your starting point and the finish line?
Maybe the screen shot is a bit unclear! I start close to Sinaria and end up on the other side of the mountains! (from east to west) or in the picture (right to left)
It's Sinaia :)
Have a great journey!

Uhhh wauw what a serious hike you got there, I never considered Romania as an hiking option but should definitely change my opinion about this asap!
Even i am using steempeak and it turns out to be great :D
Enjoy it all @holm be sure to avoid all spots where Dracula could possibly be : )
An incredibly lovable region. you beautifully choose places to your rest, I love. the dish you have got tasted appears heavenly and mouth-watering. I believe that their look is completely encouraged via the taste further as scrumptious as it's miles lovely. Based on your depiction, it's extremely tasty. exceptionally else, I loved crabs and fish within the closing picture.
nice.
thanks for sharing.
Good luck and have an amazing hike. Looking forward to read about your experiences afterwards :)
