The beginning
We started our short bike trip in the evening while the sun was settling, the road was only 45 kilometers and we wanted to go to a beach nearby the temple to sleep under the open sky.
The sun settling in the horizon while we biked along the coast is a memory worth remembering. There is something in the air that makes everything calm around you, like the world is preparing to sleep. We kept going strong without much trouble, going through amazing orange landscapes made from the sunlight.
The arrival
With the full moon rising above the '' original'' temple and out feet planted at the coast, we now decided to sleep through the night with nothing but the stars above our heads.
I tried to look for the cave that the locals talked about and the ''hidden'' path to it, but we could simply not spot it. All we could see was the temple on top of the hill.
The sun woke us up and almost blinding away the temple. We started to pack our stuff and heading towards the temple without the bikes. The path we were going could only be done by walking and swimming.
The path to the cave
The path was actually hard to find since it was not used a lot and the temple above was the big tourist attraction with the real road. But we found it eventually by walking a long the coast.
The path was mainly close to the coast but the steep hill we walked on blocked the access to the water. As seen in the last picture we started to get close to the water where we had to swim and climb a little until we would see the cave on the side of the hill.
I wish I had a waterproof camera but sadly not. So no pictures from inside but let me describe it to you:
