Tuscan Treasury

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Hey there! So couple of days ago I did a travel to the beatifual Tuscany in Italy. It was my second time there and I was still blown away from the cities and landscape of the tuscany. Fortunately, this time I had my camera with me (Lumix DMC-GX80) and could take some snapshots from the trip. :)
I visited 5 places in the tuscany, which are marked on the map.InkedTuscany_LI.png.jpg

San Gimignano
San Gimignano is a very small town in the tuscany. Quite old and in rural place. From the town you can the idyllic landscape of the tuscany. The towers and buildings are gorgeous. I couldn't capture the flair of the town on photoP1000101.JPG

Siena
Siena is one of my favorite places in the Tuscany. It is a nice and small city. Though there are a lot tourists, you can just walk a couple streets away form the center and find yourself in very cosy cafes with almost only italians and enjoy your espresso :) Siena has beatiful old buildings and its duomo is definetly the highlight!

Florence
Florence is the capital of the tuscany and the center of the renaissance. And you still can see that! The duomo is magnificent and the city has so many sights and museums. You could spend several days in florence without being bored. The only drawback of florence is that there so many tourists.

Lucca
Lucca is small town in the north of Pisa. It is not that well known outside the Tuscany but the town is worth a little travel. There are nice old narrow alleys, churches and a lot of second hand markets.

I guess you can tell by the last photo which city I visited the last (though it doesn't look leaning) ;).... and that's it. Hope you enjoyed the photos. I had really nice time taking them :) If you like, let me know what you think about the photos in the comment section.
