I will go straight to the point and tell you 5 short, strong and genuine reasons to visit us
1. History
How old is your country? Mine is about thousand years... It’s nice number if you compare it to other countries.
It’s hard to find wars that haven’t even scratched Serbia. Most of them left big scars and glorious history. We’ve been under occupation of old Turkey for five Centuries. Can you imagine? After five hundreds years we managed to get together and fight for freedom. After that, there is World war 1 (started because of us), World war 2 (it’s better not to talk what we been through that period, to sad), we had civil war twenty years ago… much and more.
We survived so much, and now we are well and healthy. I am so proud to be Serbian.
Whole world knows who is Nikola tesla. Yeap, Serbian.
You probably heard about Mileva Maric Einstein. Yes, our women are not just the most prettier in the world, we belive that Albert copied everything from her notebok . 😎
So much stuff to see, to learn. Just come and visit us! If you dare, of course. 😁
2. Food

Finding low fat food is hard mission here. In every corner you will find some restaurant, fast food even (if you are searching so hard) some organic shops. In Belgrade, we have street called “ulica gladnih” if we translate it, it will sound something like “the street of hungry”. Street is long for about 200 meters and you can eat in 15 different fastfoods there, all of them are good and working perfectly (we still need more). Although, it’s hard to find Overweight people here, it’s just because we are born that way 😉 . You should come, meet us and enjoy eating enormous amount of food with us.

3. People
Do you have friend who travels a lot? Ask him, Which country has the most beautiful girls? There is 196 countries in the world, and I am sure your friend will say Serbia. 😃
I am sure you’ve hear about our tenis belle Ana Ivanovic.
She is gorgeous.
We are in the list of top 20 tallest countries.
If you think you will find hipsters here, you are wrong. That category in Serbia doesn’t exist. People with negligent haircuts in sweaters that looks like homeless are really homeless. We are emotional, friendly and we love guests.
4. Nature
Can you belive that you can find rivers here with drinkable water? Yeah, that’s true. You can’t even imagine beauties you can find here. I won’t speak much. Let the pictures speak the thousands words:

5. It’s cheap
It’s like, come here live for 2-3 months and you will save up some money 😂.
Maybe, I shouldn’t say this about my country. But, we have low standard, as you can see here.
This “low standard” hasn’t affected our love for live. We are tough nation, as you can see in the first reason. We are still enjoying this life, enjoying food, enjoying Nightlife, festivals… ohh so much stuff we enjoy and it’s all CHEAP.
There are, of course, more reasons why you should come here. But, these five are my favorites

Awesome post about a country which deserves way more attention.
I have been in Croatia a few times. Next time I go there I should plan a few days for Serbia as well - epecially Uvac river looks amazing - kinda reminds me of the Danube :)
Have you been to Albania? A friend told me that it is way underrated as a holiday destination as well!

Banja Luka is nice town. It somewhere around 300-400 kilometers.
