Next destination- Warsaw. I visited Warsaw just about a year ago as part of my Birthday wish ( I had to visit 27 places, I have never been to). I am not gonna lie, Warsaw is a very beautiful city. The streets, the colours, the buildings even the restaurants and the night life. Everything was above my expectations.
I went there for a long weekend and I fell in love. The architecture is quite similar to what I am used to growing up in Eastern Europe, however it had its own charm. The picturesque Old Town is situated in the north and is surrounded by the buzzing cafes, the riverside, and plenty of historical buildings. This one of the main tourist attractions.
If you ever consider visiting Poland, make sure you start off your trip by stopping by at the Old Town market Square in Warsaw. It dates back to the 13th century, when it was used for public events. Now full of restaurants, a wide range of good food and cocktail bars.

I’ve never been to Poland, maybe one day I’ll get there.
First on the list are Portugal and Sweden, but I’ve got a Slovakian friend, so who knows I’ll start discovering the more Eastern side of Europe sooner than I think... :0)
What a coincidence! My top places to visit this year are Portugal and Sweden! To be honest I studied Swedish as a second language at secondary school and I have always wanted to visit it. Hopefully I make it this year and you never know... we might bump into each other!

We were all set to visit Sweden last Christmas, but my back was giving me so much trouble alrady that we had to cancel last minute.
Portugal... I used to go there with my parents when I was kid, and I’ve always wanted to go back.

I am sure Portugal is very beautiful! I would love to go to the beaches and just enjoy the sun. I am from Bulgaria originally, that's Eastern Europe, close to Greece and Turkey. I live in London now, so I miss the sun...How about you?

Aw thank you! I am glad you liked it! Travelling is my passion and so I always strive to travel as much as I can. Well I stick to Europe for now, but hopefully at some point I get to explore other continents. I will be interested to find out what other places you've been to.

Very nice looking area. To get that awesome clock tower picture you must have found another big building to go up. It is great the view.
Yes! It was the hotel that we stayed at. I took that picture with my iPhone 5S and still it is not that bad. Thank you for your usual support!
Try Krakow or Zakopane next time, both are even more beautiful with vibrant nightlife, all 3 are cheap as you found out in Warsaw. From the Brit living in Poland. :-)
