A shot I took of a humpback whale in the deep blue water of the Pacific Ocean off Australia. Using long range telephoto lenses out in open ocean is much harder than most people realize due the magnification of rocking from the swell in the viewfinder. Shot at high speed (1/3200 of a second).
I missed one like that , was so captivated I forgot to click ....

nice shots! also wondering if you need a big luck to see this humpback whale on the sea ? i never see the wild ones , and hope i can see it one day :)
Yes you do need some luck to see them very close; but if your in the right place at the right time of year you will see them for sure .
