Traveling to 70 degrees difference to the land of snow in Alberta, Canada

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

When my husband said we would be visiting his family for Christmas and NYE to Canada, I began checking the temperature as his family lives in Alberta. The part where it gets cold. Really cold. Really. Really...really cold. I have lived all my life in Indonesia with 25-35 degrees Celsius all year long, so of course I got excited. There were some days it hit -38 C, I think it was colder than Mars. Lucky I had my camera with me as the view we had was just so different it was amazing.

I was also lucky to have my 44th birthday there, I get to call it, a white birthday.
