Trip to Pugad Adventure, Pugo, La Union

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

It's holiday last Monday here in the Philippines so me and my friends took the opportunity to unwind. The summer's heat is scorching either indoors (if you don't have air conditioner) or outdoors and we tried to beat the heat in a popular resort in La Union.

Pugad Adventure is located at the town of Pugo nestled at the mountain close to the road going to Baguio City.

Join me in this beautiful resort where it is nature-filled.

We are now entering Pugad Adventure. Excited to see the view of the facility.

Getting closer but we have to pass this bridge to the parking area. This might look more beuatiful if it was stuffed and designed.

We're finally here! Took some time walking before we enter the resort.

This is the entrance!

Now, I would like to take you on a tour inside Pugad Adventure

Two large pools around. The landscape is very beautiful. Since it is in a mountain, it contributed to the beauty of the landscape. There are more pools inside the facility.

I had a walked and did sightseeing and noticed that the facility has more on nature to offer. Cool breeze brought by the plants and trees.

Ifugao River flowing from the mountains. The water flowing is relaxing to the ears.

Now I am set to cross the hanging bridge. We actually crossed the two of them. The second one is wider than this. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it.

Direction to the Kubo (hut cottages).

I went on with my walk, and I was amazed of green plants, grasses, and trees. Indeed it's refreshing! That's what you may be thinking of upon seeing these.

Those beautiful cottages, and grasses are eye-catching.

I have no idea what this well is for, but it contributed to the place's beauty.

The way to the zoo. I am unable to have a tour inside because of other activities done.

Swimming and Kayaking

The most important part of our trip is swimming! There are a number of pools to try to but some of them were closed.

Playing around in the pool with friends.

We tried kiddie pool. But we are not allowed to climb those slides!

I tried kayaking for the first time! It's difficult at first but you'll learn how to maneuver the boat. I admit it was fun! Oh wait, the ABS! I mean the dad bod! Lol!

The weather in our country is very hot. It is very difficult to move around this summer. Today the clouds are visible in the sky. It may rain. So I think the weather will be a little cold.
