Is it really a week since the end of Anarchopulco?
The last evening was very memorable for all the right reasons; Lisa & Nathan held a wedding vow re-dedication ceremony at sunset on the beach and we along with dozens of others helped celebrate for them and also renewed our own promises. It was special
We were asked to attend in fancy dress - arriba arriba!
Later we went to our first RAVE - not bad for 61 year olds, we sat with another senior couple but with the ecstacy it was all good, great sounds, lights and atmosphere.
Next day we set off to Mexico City for 3 days before flying home to UK. Earlier I said we are 61, well my birthday to reach that age was 22nd Feb and I'd booked a balloon flight over the Teotihuacan pyramids.
It was a bit chilly at 7.30am but very enjoyable and a first for me.
My son clipped the go-pro footage for youtube:
In fact there were lots of firsts during Anarchopulco:
*Ayahuasca
*DMT Jaguar ceremony
*Earthquake
*Rave
*Ecstacy
*Balloon
*Being set upon by wild dogs.....
Oh yeah, almost forgot to say how we were driving to venue on day one early morning and came across a pack of hounds lying in the road.. In the UK we are kinda compassionate about animals and I stupidly slowed down to a halt so as not to hurt them with the car. They raced at the car, jumping at the windows, scratching the paintwork and biting the front grille. Bastards! That cost me damage waiver fee for hire car.
Mexico was great, no time did we feel threatened or in danger (dogs & earthquake excluded) of terrorists and its a place I'd revisit. Can't commit to Anarchpulco 2019 yet as my parents are not in the best of health, but maybe nearer the time....
Thx for reading.
