Sorry to hear that your first trip to Paris turned into a "fun starvation fest." Well, we live and learn. At least you had fun. My niece has to travel to Paris a few time a year and she's become somewhat of a pro when it comes to saving money there. If she has to be in Paris for more than a few days, she normally rents a Airbnb with a kitchen so that she can cook some of her own meals. And with the money she saves, she splurges by eating at her favorite restaurants in Paris.
