Ibiza, a Mediterranean island that deserves to visit ... it is not just for party animals! We go to Ibiza to relax, enjoy the sun from May to October, eat good tapas and taste the excellent Mediterranean cuisine, stroll through the beautiful streets of the old town to go shopping, or to go shopping. relax in the countryside surrounded by olive trees far from the noise and why not do a yoga retreat. Enjoy this "bobo-chic" atmosphere that reigns throughout the island. Ibiza is known around the world for its beautiful beaches, coves and the quality of its water. Of course for night owls, there is also something to do! I went with friends to party and family for a more relaxing vacation. I advise you!

- Ibiza Old Town: Eivissa (Ibiza Town) is really charming. Especially the old city at night when the streets come alive. The "high" city dominates the port. It is one of the oldest cities in the world with more than 2600 years of history. Listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO, the city is also worth a visit. See his castle and its ramparts.

- The Cathedral: called the "Cathedral of the Virgin of the Snows", it is the main Catholic building of the city of Ibiza and the seat of the diocese of Ibiza. Built in the 13th century on the foundations of the old mosque of Yebisah, in the Catalan Gothic style, to which was added the Baroque style for the nave.
The Renaissance walls of Dalt Vila of the city of Eivissa are the most important monument of Ibiza; they were declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1999.

- Gastronomy: taste some typical dishes such as "sprinkling matures", "fried pork", "sofrit pages" or tapas ... I have some addresses for you: - the beach restaurant Cala Tarida which is called "his Eufabies" which is held by a family of the island since always - and in Santa Gertrudis, Bistro Plaza is also excellent!

- Beaches: the island offers 210km of beaches! 2948 hours of sunshine a year! Magic coves in Cala d'Hort, Pou des Lleo (less crowded), large family beaches (Platja d'en Bossa or Es Figueral) then Ses Salinas and Es Cavallet (protected natural environment with a dune system). My favorite ? Cala Tarida and its beach restaurant!

- The Hippie Market: Las Dalias opened its first hippie market in 1985! It's a must see! Go on Saturdays between 10am and 8pm and Monday + Tuesday for the "night market" from 7pm to 1am.

- Agrotourism: old farmhouses renovated in hotel. The food is very good and it is very relaxing. Some have created a real paradise. I spent 1 night in a romantic, healthy and relaxing place: The Can Marti. Natural pool, steam room, massage and yoga sessions. Heaven!

- Formentera Island: you have to go to this magical island located 30 minutes from Ibiza. All hours in high season, cost 23EUR. A small, fairly flat and small island, 69km of coastline. The best beaches? Espalmador, Cala Saona, Illetas, Levante and Migjorn. The atmosphere is very nature. The water is turquoise and almost transparent. We see the fish swim. Many beach restaurants (the chiringuitos) with the famous appointment for the sunset. You have to rent a scooter or a car on arrival.

- Discotheques: Amnesia, Pacha, Privilege, Blue Marlin: if you want to spend an evening of madness, you will be delighted! Attention, the entries in the nightclubs are very expensive in Ibiza. In the alleys at the port, in the evening, many young people dressed in formal wear offer you entries at lower cost, but you still have to provide about 40EUR per person (without drink). Attention, in Ibiza, we go to night clubs around 2-3am ...? My favorite DJ in Ibiza? Carl Cox

- Yoga Retreats: a beautiful place to give you for a Zen Yoga holiday. A wonderful experience to do to experiment Vinyasa Flow, Pilates or Yoga meditation.

- Festivals: In May, the Atzaro Healing Ibiza Festival is in full swing for 2 days. This is the place to go if you want to be full of energy and relaxation. In the same dates, there is the medieval festival of Ibiza. The city is transformed into a great medieval fair.
