Beautiful city great place to just walk around but what I remember the most from kyoto was all the deer.
I don't recall seeing any deer in Kyoto.. There were tones in Nara though. Is that what ur thinking of?
Ah that was it, my mistake
haha, sal good. A lot of my trip has blended together. I'm always having to think over "where that was..." too.
That's where my friend taught English to elementary school students for a few years. The pictures and pilgramwges he took made it look so amazing. Thanks for sharing and reminding me how much I need to get there! He just got back a couple weeks ago from a trip back there, and he brought me all the puccho's so I will survive!
Oh cool. My bud did the same thing (still there actually). That's why I went. I used it as an excuse to reach a new land!
That would have been a great opportunity for you to go!!!
I know, my friends made it out while he lived there twice. Just never a good time for me.. So I will pay the golden price.. I'm still going to make it someday!!
Ya, shit happens for sure. The good thing is if u are able to stay with a friend, the cost is cut down pretty significantly.
Thats unreal, everything is so beautiful, i have to find the time to go there one day
Great pictures, love the Brain Tree! lol These made me miss My Japan trip so much!
I love to the culture of Japan, the pictures of forest and garden are amazing!
beautiful pics man, i haven't been to kyoto in years
Amazing! Like my wildest dreams of Japan :-)
Nice pictures! The bamboo garden looks like the one in the movie House of flying daggers :D Hopefully i get to travel to Japan someday too!
Haha, Ya I know what you mean actually. All the bamboo forests pretty much look the same lol. You should definitely go! It's an incredible place.
I will definitely go if I have the chance :) Thank you for sharing your pictures! I will check out that bamboo garden and maybe reenact some scenes haha
lol.. I've always dug that scene at the end of Kill Bill ;)
R you also a martial artist?
Haha i wish :P But my martial arts days could still come lol
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos! 😍 My boyfriend and I also visited Arashiyama (bamboo forest in Kyoto) last spring. A LOT of walking around, but well worth the amazing experience!
Indeed it is. Oddly enough this is a separate bamboo forest that was at one of the temples. You were able to walk in/through it unlike the Arashiyama which has an actual walkway you stick to. or at least I did lol.
Where else did you go in Japan...? or just visited Kyoto?
We also visited Tokyo and Osaka, but Kyoto was special because my mother is from there. She used to live a few minutes away from Nishiki Market if you know where that is.
