It has changed so much since we served here. I live about 15 minutes up the highway from the old Howard AFB.
The first time we went, we stayed right outside Ft. Clayton, the next time we stayed on Ft. Amador, in the old PDF barracks.
Oh wow, Ft. Amador is crumbling now. They are tearing most of the buildings down and I believe the new convention center is going up there.
awww that hurts, hope to get back and see the place one day!
