The said shops are mostly visible in main roads to address your concerns. If you are in trouble with your deflated/fLat tires, need some little adjustments on your motorbike chains, changing decrepit tires, inflate your basketball/volleyball and other inflatables.
When my father is still alive we have our own vulcanizing shop. Where I learned how to do the vulcanizing thing like how to fix bicycles or motorcycles tires and other light tasks.
To start your Vulcanizing shop business you need these following Equipment and Tools
- Air Compressor
- Spanner with different sizes
- Adjustable wrenches
- Locking Plier
- Flat File
- Rubber Gums for tire patching
- improvise piston compressor to cook the gum
- Bansil a silver paper inside cigarette case or aluminum foil
- Crude oil to keep the piston hot
- sledge hammer for big tires
- multiple sizes of solid steel flatten ripping bar
- water to check if the tire have holes
- Bottle jack and wooden support
- set of pliers
Things To Do
In order for you to get the tire interior you need to start with deflating the tire by simply removing the " Kanyuto " for fast discharging of air content. Next using the desired size of ripping bar, slowly lift the inner edges of the tire until it loosen up and easy for you to pull out the interior. Third by simply using you fingers check the inner tire and feel the surface if there are presence of spikes and use the plier to removed it. Forth, inflate the interior then submerge it into the water while rolling to easily locate the holes and put a piece of stick to it. Fifth, dry and file the portion you need to work on, before applying gum adhesive for strong adhesion. Sixth, put the gum directly to the hole, then cover it with aluminum or bansil to avoid gum sticking into the hot piston. Seventh, using the improvise compressor let the hot surface of the piston cook the gum, Eight, remove the interior as soon a the gum is perfectly done to avoid burning it. Ninth inflate the interior to make sure that no more presence of bubbles as you submerge it into the water. Tenth, deflate the interior before returning it inside of the tire. Eleventh, using the ripping bars slowly insert the tire edges. Lastly, Inflate the tires using air compressor and use tire gauge for vehicle tires to estimate the amount of PSI.
