Steemit Cancer Free Road Trip Journal #3 - New Orleans

in #travel6 years ago

I am currently on road trip to celebrate my recovery from cancer, and the whole trip is funded by steem, which I discussed in my first road trip journal, and in this post, I am sharing my journey through Louisiana. First, we spent a few days in New Orleans, where there was a lot to see and do. Coincidentally, we arrived during the weekend of the Pride celebrations, so it was probably one of the better party weekends of the year, aside from Mardi Gras.

Kali was warned that the main party block, the French Quarter was kinda dirty and smelled like trash and urine, but I wasn't prepared so it was a bit of a shock for me. Still, as someone who came up raving in nasty warehouses, I could appreciate a grimy party spot. There was an interesting culture of voodoo that I found very interesting, and it was very out in the open, I even saw multiple Trump voodoo dolls advertised, which I guess is an easy joke, but I got a laugh out of it.

There was also a ton of great art in New Orleans, which I wasn't expecting, but was a pleasant surprise for a  psychonaut like myself. My favorite piece of art I found in a random gallery, but couldnt take a picture, luckily I was able to track down the artist on Facebook and find a picture of the piece.

We ended the night on this rooftop bar that overlooked the city, but the pictures don't really do the view any justice.

We also visited the New Orleans Museum of Art and Botanical Garden, and a park with a bunch of really cool trees.

Next will be my trip through the Louisianan Bayou!  Thanks so much to everyone who has helped me on steemit to make this possible!

....very cool photo's of the sculptures!

The photos in this post are amazing! I would love to learn how you defeated cancer and hope you will share your story in hopes that other people can possibly use some of the same methods as you did.

Also, I think some of the occult practioners are serious about cursing Trump, or so it seems from what I read from many of my esoteric friends.

i didnt do it any way special lol i tried every alternative cure out there, but still continued to eat like shit so i needed chemo anyway lol

I havent been extremely vocal about it because when I am people tend to give me lectures and tell me how to eat lol
