Morning Light
I took this photo at a small mountain lake just as the sun was peeking over the mountains. Our summer afternoons here in Washington get fairly hot, but each night the temperatures drop considerably and we have cool evenings. As a result there is often fog on the lakes and as soon as the sun comes up and temperatures begin to rise, it burns off and dissipates. The sun beaming through the fog created these fabulous rays on this forest path above the lake.
