RE: 8 Bad Things About Southeast Asia From an Expats Point of View

in #travel7 years ago

Everyone is entitled to a diatribe and living abroad can bring out the best and worst in us. I am living in the UK and find lots to complain about, but I chose to return and make the best of it. When abroad you will see things that disagree with your values and principles. My own way of dealing with this was to lead by example and try to be a good one. I gained respect and affection and I was reasonably high profile, I retained friends long after I left and miss it terribly, but I'm back with my family and where I now belong. I know you enjoy where you live and it is good to see both sides, but you'll go on writing the positive stuff as you love it there. Following you to see! Best of luck. happy Steeming!

Very astute words my friend. I totally agree it's all about one's own attitude. There is so much that I love about Asia, every day is a new adventure. I don't think I could ever return to England. Thank you for commenting and good luck with your own Steem journey.
