RE: Travels With Connie #52 Back Of The Rim

in #travel7 years ago

The Grand Canyon has to be seen. A million photos and 10,000 hours of film can't catch it.

I think i have to agree to that. Most beautiful things that i have been fortunate enough to experience, i can surely say that they are best captured in our minds than a hard disc. Plus the experience of gettig away from everyday life and enjoying fresh air, surrounded by nature is a big postive that makes me go on trips. I do want to see the grand canyon and will keep your tip handy when i am able to plan a visit.

I got my first motorcycle at age 13

Same for me, although i fall short on experience given i am younger and not riding in the UK anymore. But i do every chance i get in india.

I think that area of India is where a friend crashed his bike and broke his collarbone.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I will recommend that if you get a chance, you should travel to India, recommend north east, rent a bike and see the sites. Some parts in himalayan foothills have plenty of camping sites now so definitely worth a visit.

Looking forward to see your post. May be i book my next holiday there after seeing your post.
