Hello Steemians,
Today, I am going to share with you how I traveled in Europe's cheapest capital city with just 20 USD/day. I will write the name of the city at the end, so just enjoy the post without knowing the city.
My day started around 9 am, this is the breakfast I had in 2 USD!
Took a metro and reached the city center! The metro is 20 cents per trip! Can't get any cheaper in Europe!
Went to visit some beautiful churches,
After a 30 minute hike, reached this open-air war museum, the entry was free!
Hungry already, lunch-time but tight on budget and I'm also a vegetarian, so I had this 3 USD pizza!
Went to relax at the river bank and saw these zip-lines in the sky, but considering my 20 USD budget, I never thought I could afford it. Anyway went and asked the charges,
It was dead cheap, 4 USD
Visited some very historic spots of the city,
Reached this gigantic shopping mall that people were talking about, but as soon as I reached it, I knew I couldn't afford shit!
There was this aquarium in the walls of mall with huge fishes and this one was pissed at me because I shopped nothing,
Hungry again, dinner time! I thought I will have to settle with McDonald's but surprisingly this Indian restaurant was cheap enough - 5 USD dinner,
Finally had to relax and sleep somewhere, this was tricky, after a lot of surfing on the web, found this nice hostel for 4 USD,
So the total expenses for the day,
Breakfast - 2 USD
5 Metro rides - 1 USD
Lunch - 3 USD
Zip-line - 4 USD
Dinner - 5 USD
Hostel - 4 USD
TOTAL = 19 USD
I've got a dollar left, do you want it!
Could you guess the city from photos?
Kiev, Ukraine - A very underrated city in Europe!
