Florence, the home of the Renaissance and birthplace of our modern world, has the best Renaissance art in Europe. I was so lucky that I've been there. There are many people who want go there in the world but most of them are not able to go due to people's financial condition. I went there with my friend two years ago.
Ponte vecchio
The first place I would like to introduce to you is Ponte vecchio. This awesome bridge was built in 14th century. This old bridge is one of the most famous symbol of the city and also the only one that was not damaged during the Second World War. You can find many jewelry shops on that bridge.
Florence Cathedral
Florence Cathedral was built between in 1296-1436. The church's claim to fame is its dome the first of the Renaissance in the first great dome built in Europe in over a thousand years. External of the Cathedral is has marbles with pink, white and green color.

Palazzo vecchio
Palazzo vecchio started to as the people's palace and was home of the city council. the square next to it is famous due to the replica of the Statue of David. The square home for the Loggia dei lanzi which is an open air sculpture gallery.
Those pictures are below taken from The Piazzale Michelangelo. If you'll go to Florence, do not leave Florence without visiting The Piazzale Michelangelo because you'll see best overlooks of Florence. You can also see all of the city's most famous landmarks.
Florence is considered by many to be an open-air museum. If you are interested in architecture, for example, you don't need to visit any museums: many of the palaces and squares are masterpieces of their own.
