Hello Steemians,
This is my entry for the Landscapephotography Contest. It is a picture I took in Morocco, back in 2009.
I believe I was standing inside an oasis, looking towards the Kasbah Tifoultoute, the fortress you see in the middle of the picture. Hope you like it!
Morocco is a very harsh yet beautiful place. Is that the Atlas Mountains in the background?
i believe they are, yes. we crossed the Atlas Mountains to get there from Marrakesh; that should be them.
It looks great and dry, there must be an under ground spring with all of those date palms. Really nice photo
