Hello Steemit friends today I will be talking about the first part of my New York trip. The reason I am breaking it down into multiple parts is because there is just too much content for one post. This will be a three part series containing pictures, travel info, and eventually (when I'm done editing) a video with amazing cell phone and drone photography.
Today I will be talking about Brooklyn. We stayed in Brooklyn because of how cheap the Air bnb was. Some people will say Brooklyn is dangerous and unsafe but we had no troubles even late at night. We actually had a good time staying in Brooklyn. There are many convenient stores and the subway will connect you to everything. That leads me to the number one tip I have for traveling to New York. TAKE THE SUBWAY. It is the fastest, cheapest, and most exciting way to travel in New York. We took the subway everywhere and saved hundreds. Most tourist are afraid of this system but I would suggest using Google Maps it will tell you where to go.
Above is a drone photo of a brand new basketball court located on the famous Marcy and Myrtle Ave. Many famous hip-hop artists including Jay-Z and Nas grew up in this area and it was just an amazing experience walking around and taking it all in.
There is a lot of history in Brooklyn. For us it was a great place to lay our heads and get some great food.

In New York there is just too much to do with such little time.
