Ahsan Manzil is located on the banks of the Buriganga River in Islampur, Old Dhaka. It was earlier the palace of Nawabs of Dhaka. Currently it is used as a museum. Its founder, Nawab Abdul Gani, named it after his son Khwaja Ahsanullah. Construction of Ahsan Manzil was completed in 189 AD and was completed in 1872.
