(1) Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/hawaii/makapuu-point-lighthouse-trail-kaiwi
For those that are beginner hikers, this is a great way to start off your trip. The trail is about 1.5 miles roundtrip and the trail is completely paved. The paved path is lined with cactuses and windblown brush. Make sure to go to the edges of the trail, as it offers some amazing views of the deep blue Pacific Ocean!
PRO TIP: Do not go during 11am - 2pm as the sun ☀️ is the harshest during this time. We learned the hard way and got sunburnt!
Once you have reached the summit, make sure to climb on top of some old WWII Pillboxes. You will be taken aback by the views!
(2) Kualoa Ranch

Make sure and save a full day to go to Kualoa Ranch. This private nature reserve has been the site of some famous movies such as Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor and Godzilla. During our stay, we opted to take the ATV, Jungle and Catamaran Tour. DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!
The ATV tour was about 45 mins long. The tour guide took us through the winding valleys where you see sweeping views of the Pacific to your left and stunning views of mountainous ranges to your right.
About to embark on our Catamaran Tour!
Our wonderful tour guide during the Jungle Expedition Tour!
(3) Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay

One of the most popular and visited tourist attractions is Hanauma Bay. This place does get crowded and parking can be a hassle here - BUT YOU GOTTA COME! Make sure to come early in the morning or face a parking nightmare. We woke up at 5:30am, got some breakfast and quickly jetted off. We were one of the first people to arrive and got free parking!
Got my gear on and ready to see all the color fishes 🐠 !!! Apparently there are over 300 species of fish that lurk in the shallow coral reefs. (PS: check out my killer sunburn from Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail haha)
All right my fellow steemians that wraps up my top 3 things to do in Oahu. There are obviously many other things to do here. What are some of your favorite places? Comment below :)
