We live by the Baltic Sea and I love it!
But Moscow is always in my heart.
The Garden Ring (Sadovoye Koltso) marks the limit of what used to be the fortifications encircling
the Kremlin and Kitay Gorod in the 17th century. After the 1812 Great Fire of Moscow destroyed the city centre, it was rebuilt in a predominantly Neo-Classical style, in a patchwork of mansions and orchards, with a network of boulevards and side streets running its perimeter. It's nice and easy to walk inside The Garden Ring, especially now.
Here I am in Petrovka street with Vladimir Vysotskey and in Tsvetnoy blvd., in front of Yury Nikulin Circus.
