CALIFORNIA DREAMING

California dreaming today as I think back about my last week in Los Angeles. I spent most of my time on the coast where the sun, sand and surf is. California is one of my favourite places to visit. It has pretty much everything for everyone. If you are anything like me though you would spend all your time in the sun taking in some of the best beaches California has to offer. One of my favourites is Huntington Beach.

Waterfront Beach Resort is right on the beach and has all the amenities you can imagine, no need to worry about any beach necessities they have you covered. Beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, sand toys and even footballs....anything you need, all you have to do is put on your swimsuit (don't forget the sunscreen) and head to the beach.

It's obvious that Huntington Beach is know for the beach itself but you can't forget about the beach walk that extends for what seems like miles. Here you can rent bikes, long boards, tandem bikes and multi person surreys. While enjoying the beach walk make your way to the pier that extent out and overlooks the beach. You can even grab a old fashioned burger, fries and milkshake at the famous Ruby's Diner.

Don't leave the beach yet, when the sun sets there is still plenty to do here. You can enjoy a bonfire right on the sand overlooking the pacific ocean. Or grab a cocktail on any of the great patios the restaurants offer and enjoy the beautiful sunset. A perfect way to end the day in Huntington Beach.
