While travelling in South America we decided to go far South where the continent ends and to see one of the biggest glaciers - Perito Moreno.
It's a huge surface of the sea covered with ice.
To be able to walk on ice you need special shoes.
And then you can have a nice and unusual walk.
Sometimes the ice cracks and these cracks fill with purest water of fantastic blue color. The deeper the crack - the darker the color.
In some places the ice melts on the surface and looks like ponds. If such pond is shallow enough, you can step on it without being afraid to fall under the ice (because all under the pond is ice which cannot be broken).
Walking on ice is nice :)
After the trekking you go back by a boat.
And while sailing you can enjoy whiskey with ice ice from the glacier :) That is how Antarctic tastes ))
