These animals live in the pampas of South America. We found them almost everywhere in Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
They live mostly in the highlands.
In Peru they are called vicunyas, and in Argentina people call them guanacas.
Some of them show active character and some of them are pretty calm and peaceful.
It was a great pleasure to observe them in wildlife.
What lovely photographs. Vicunas and Guanacos are two different species, but closely related.
Absolutely amazing! Were you able to come close to them? :)
If I were the photographer I would not go close to them. Kangaroo in Australia looks good and kind but when you get closer, it will kick your ass.
