Sharing my first travel writing with the pen name "The long & winding road" | Are you a relaxing-traveler or an express-traveler?

And here it goes friends! I decided to start an IG account just for my writing! 👉 The long & winding road

As I LOVE being on the road, I couldn't think of any pen-name better than "The long & winding road". I smiled at myself because it's exactly a Beatles song haha

This year 2022 has been long and short, short but long. I have done so much, I have seen so much. I have failed too much. And I have stood up so many times each time I fell as well.
When I was living in Da Nang and the international tourism woke up again, I got to meet SO MANY international travelers coming to my town. I listened to all their stories, itineraries, we did some adventures together. I got some good connection/attachment with some people as well.
Oh how I know there are so many ways/mindset travelers have.

Are you a relaxing-traveler or an express-traveler?

I know some people who went crazy and got stressed out because they were in a rush to see as many places as possible, because we all get greedy when we travel, because we're worried of missing out things at a certain place, because we only have a few days of vacation... At the end of their travels, they usually got overwhelmed and didn't enjoy the trip as they did anymore.

And I have met people, who just stick with a place for so long, that I had to wonder: What did you really do there for that long? 😆
Some travelers I met, they had busy schedule like a celebrity, and some others, they just relax, roaming around telling me: Hit me up anytime, I'm always up for a drink when you're free 😆

I found it so interesting, no mention your interest and budget whilst travelling, these styles already got me intrigued.

Myself I'm obviously a relaxing-traveler! If you're an express-traveler, tell us why? What you enjoy from that? 😊

Back to the story of me starting to write more seriously with a pen-name

Why do I need to write?

I was born a writer
naturally a writer
Why do I need to write?

because I observe too much
because I listen too much
because I see and hear too much
because I think and FEEL too much
because all my senses don't work like others
they are too sharp and sensitive
my eyes, my ears, my nose, my tongue, my skin, and my intuition...

I feel like I have 100+ senses and not only 5 or 6
I feel like I'm formless as a part of nature, of the wind, the rain, the trees, the sunset, the ocean.. yet I feel like an alien because it's so hard for people to really SEE me...

Because of that, I experience this world in such an extreme and complex way
I grew up suffering a lot because of this "power" I have

As I learn to control and simplify my own thoughts, experiences, and feelings, I love to represent things I learn back to the world in a simple, pure, and beautiful way
so it touches your heart
so it touches your soul
so you can feel how simple and loving this life can be, just from little things...
That's my life goal

This can be my lifetime thing to do, which I enjoy so much, but there is no rush; because learning, evolving within myself, then showing, performing back into this world is my air to breathe!

Fun fact, it's so simple to understand what I want to show you here (because I already converted things and performed them in a simple form), but to really GET me and my soul - the raw and original me, where you can see I have fears and struggles with dark naughty ideas too, it's another lifetime work to do.

The most beautiful thing that ever happened to me so far is once I met someone who saw the "raw" me, the "original" me, who treasured me in everyway - someone who told me I should write more - and that's why I'm here now 😘

And even though that person decided to leave my life, I forever love and treasure everything we had together. Sometimes you just meet someone - you two just clicked - and your whole life starts to change from that moment!

When we meet again one day, I'll spend the same love, the same look, the same energy for that person
Because unconditional love does exist
Because even if we have to move on with life, doesn't mean we have to move on with hate
Because only death is the last goodbye
Because even though we have to evolve ourselves separately on different paths, if things belong together, they will eventually get back together
