We we next to the river, but the house was remarkably well isolated noise-wise, we couldn't hear a thing; not even the birds chirping! I would prefer to be able to hear the nature sounds, but given that the river beach is public and I bet it gets crowded in peak months, being sound proof it's good for anyone staying there. Nevertheless, it was relaxing for sure, it was an awesome surprise. I'll try and get a hiking post soon. Cheers! !BEER
