Bring Love Back to the Garden of Eden: How Do You Want Your Eggs?

in #travel7 years ago

This June in Arlington Texas is the most high vibe and amazing festival being hosted by the famous, sustainable community, the Garden of Eden.

As their beloved chef of many years it is my desire to temporarily exit my Epic Journey Through Latin America for the purpose of being of service during this epic event.

Preparing and serving you daily with mouthgasmic, nutritional and delicious
cuisine is my joy and desire during this Epic Metamorphosis event.

New Dates Confirmed with Film Crew for EDEN METAMORPHOSIS: June 8-10, 2018 @ the GOE!

Because I am a free traveler currently in Costa Rica I am calling out to all supporters of freedom and high vibe cuisine to serve the community with any form of currency, preferably Steem to bring me, Love, home for this event.

It is my plan to serve hundreds of high vibe, mouthgasmic meals all day and every day during the event.

A round trip plane ticket from San Jose, Costa Rica to Dallas airport and $100.00 is all that I require. Your donation of Steem and dollars will get me there.

All things food is my specialty at the Garden of Eden.

From the compost to the table is what I do.

My ex-husband of over 20 years was a chef.
I learned from him to try new things, forget the recipes and just create flavors.

Many years ago while living at the Garden of Eden @gardenofeden
Quinn @quinneaker and Everlove @everlove
worked with me for many months to take my
already natural skill and abilities to the next level.

They escorted me through developing and refining my
palette as well as expanding my repertoire to include vegetarian and vegan diets.
I've become a master of turning all those green things
into flavorful juice and nutritious meals.

After those months I left the GoE for a couple years.
When I returned Quinn no longer felt the need to instruct or guide me.
He just built those rocket stoves and outdoor kitchen for me.
Quickly I became a master at managing the open flames of the rocket stoves and the pit grill.
Creating amazing menus and
coordinating catering,
family meals,
homeless feeds and our
many fundraiser parties was/is my passion.

Below is a sample of what I have done both at the Garden of Eden and on my travels.

Everlove was always my favorite taster to check and and see if my flavors are on spot.
She would laugh at me all the times she saw me running across
the property with a spoon full of
something for her to taste.

After awhile she came to recognize the look on my face when
I know I just created something magically delicious.

Then there's Sara Miller @saramiller.

She never tired of me bringing her the
perfect cup of coffee
each morning.

Every time she was so happy, excited and grateful.
The look of joy on her face was as though it was
the first time I ever brought her a perfect cup of coffee.

One year ago, after almost 3 years, I packed up my backpack and set out on my
Epic Journey Through Latin America .
Today I am in Costa Rica on the Pacific coast.
I continue to regularly talk to Everlove and half our conversations are about food.
That woman and I cook together and we always create some super mouthgasmic flavors.

In light of the newest events unfolding at the Garden of Eden I am feeling called to go home to support my community family with fire and a spatula.
In case you don’t know, the GoE is up for sale, hosting a huge festival in June and is hosting an award winning film crew making a documentary about Quinn Eaker and the community.

The Universe has a round trip plane ticket out there for me from San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) to Dallas (DFW) and back again.I’m just waiting for it to arrive. Also, about $100.00 for my pocket is on its way to me.
I am looking for people who will send those things on its way to me.
This request is in support of the GoE and all the amazing things the community is doing to raise the vibration of the planet.
Bringing Love Back to the Garden of Eden will support raising the vibration of the food that you can expect to enjoy during the Metamorphosis festival.
The food will be amazing without me however, the others will be able to focus their energy elsewhere once it is in my capable and experienced hands.
Qiqi and Noki will be super grateful. We have a very special fried eggs relationship. They will scream with delight when I walk through those gates.

Since I have been traveling I have learned about many, many more flavors and techniques which I am very excited to show off.

Epic Food Journey Through Latin America: Experiencing Food and Family in Mexico City

What to expect from Love's food:

Fresh herbal teas, infused waters and the notorious morning coffee can be expected daily.

Tasty and nutritious Green Juice like you've never had.

Experience Love through every bite.

Taste the Love in every spoon full.

Wrap your mouth around some new flavors.

The high vibe, mouthgasmic Love food is infinitely available during the Eden Metamorphosis Festival when you support the effort to bring her home from her Epic Journey Through Latin America for this hugely important event.

You can support this drive of a round trip plane ticket and $100.00 cash for travel expenses by donating Steem to me or Quinn Eaker @quinneaker. Send Bank of the Republic notes to [email protected] to be received in my PayPal account.

Oh man!! I would love to work at a place like that. That food looks amazing and I love that the compost is made by you! What kind of treatment do you use on the compost? Do you check the PH of it before planting with it?

What do you mean by treatment? I don't check the ph. I guess I just have an instinct about it. You just have to have a balance of things. Kitchen scraps, yard clippings, other sources of soil and Manure. I know when it's ready by the feel, look and smell of it. Glad to see your enthusiasm.

Hope to see you there. Please repost so I can get home to support my family.

Very grateful. ❤️
Steem on!

Done! By treatment I mean, pouring the egg water from hard boiled eggs into the soil to add calcium, or using baking soda to bring down acidity for plants requiring the alkaline soil. Some plants are really picky!

At the Garden of Eden there is such a variety stuff everyday that goes into the compost that I don't really put that much thought into it. It's not unusual to add three 5 gallon buckets of kitchen scraps everyday. I would boil a couple dozen eggs once or twice a week and the liquid would get dumped in the buckets. If I boiled pumpkin or there was spoiled milk being cleaned out of the fridge it all goes into the buckets.

Also, everyday there is grounds managing that brings in composting materials. Then there's neighbors who would bring us manure or saw dust or wood chips. Many men would do the favor of urinating on it.

So there's always a variety of materials going into it. If my plants needed extra calcium I might use a separate bucket to collect egg shells, dry them out then mash them to crumbs, sprinkle over soil or mix into a top dress.

I've learned over the years that these things are not hard and fast rules but techniques to mold to fit your particular situation.

Grateful for the conversation and your interest. Talking about this is making me homesick for my garden...of Eden.

Keep composting and growing your Steem dreems.

We have been doing the same thing with our compost, we plan to PH test it before use, but we have a pretty full and over flowing bin right now! Everything from yard waste from raking leaves to kitchen scraps and waste food. We even put our ashes in there from the firepit when it needs cleaning.

Yeah. We do ashes too. Starbucks gives us coffee grounds.

Why do you test the PH? Sounds like you have a specific issue you are addressing?

I have some tropical plants that require a more alkaline soil than we have so I have to set aside a pail of compost and add baking soda to level the ph out.

ohh very delicious 😱😱😱😍😍 have great day

Always having a great day. It's beautiful here in Costa Rica.

It's all super delicious. Come and join us.

Keep on steemin.

Yes @loveon...come on and love-on us and our festival guests!!!

This is sure to be an epic time with so much potential for high vibe transformations. I love this post -- it gives but small taste of your skills and offerings. You are indeed a gifted chef, and I've always been delighted to have had the opportunity to combine our skills. May this be another great time to serve our people.

May the force be with you!! <3

When I was writing this I was laughing at all the crazy food things we've done together. Especially Arizona. Remembering giving away mouthgasms to unsuspecting strangers in the road outside Gem Jam. That was the most fun I ever had with food.

I'm coming back to do some more. All the money from this post will go towards the plane ticket. It's gonna happen. I believe.

Grateful for you and your electric knife sharpener.

Any suggestions on how I can keep this post going and getting it to the people who love amazing food?

Oh yes, I remember those street mouthgasms....that was indeed a LOT of fun with food! And I know we were not the only ones enjoying it. I was thinking the other day about that whole Arizona experience. Master Training at its finest!

I wish I knew how to keep it in flow. That's one of the things I like the least about Steemit, is that once it's lost its initial mojo, it gets lost in outer space. Resteeming really seems to help. Use your other social media too to promote it, and make some other posts with the link in it soooooon before it goes to the ethers! Write lots of posts to get people back on your content, and hopefully all of them added up will get you what you need.

Writing posts has taken the backseat until I can get a new power cord to my computer.

I can see what I can do to make posts through my phone. I'm just so addicted to making jewelry right now.

These are good ideas. This is going to happen.

May we all be so blessed!!!!

Your jewelry is amazing btw. No surprise! I love the way you pay attention to detail.

I'm on my way!

Open wide!

You're gonna love this! <3
