An Ecovillage with the word “fuck” in the title certainly grabbed my attention.
A friend I met during my travels recommended...
Waiting at the San Jose coffee shop for Tommy to come pick me up.
...I stop by and visit his friends in the mountains near
San Jose del Pacifico.
Although I had a feeling I was about to encounter an interesting experience,
I really had no idea...
Before I arrived I learned that not only is San Jose del Pacifico the home of
5 different types of wild psillisibin
it was also the birth place of
the psychedelic movement of the 60’s
after the article about
Maria Satina
https://mexfiles.net/2010/04/14/maria-sabina/
was published in Life magazine in the year 1957
This brought visitors such as
John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix, and Janice Joplin
to not only experience the sacred mushroom
but to reveal its secrets
to the greater public.
It was my first time to visit another ecovillage since
living at the Garden of Eden @gardenofeden therefore
it was very interesting to compare notes with
Tommy and Leona, the Norwegian born founders of the project.
Currently there are no people living
at the community as Tommy explained.
It was a true gift to have the private opportunity
of exploring this radical yet intimate community.
The community raised some money through
the informative videos on their website,
Fuck For Forest
This money, they are now investing in land, materials and skilled Mexicans
to construct a variety of buildings on the vast property.
Once the buildings are complete, I am told,
the housing of inhabitants will reconvene.
One of the buildings is actually a large
wood burning pizza oven which goes with it,
its own interesting story.
The experiences I had at this stop in
my Magical Mexican City Tour
were further deepened by giving me responsibility
of the cooking and kitchen duties during my short stay.
Food, all things food were my duties while residing at my previous home,
the Garden of Eden.
When I immersed into the FFF kitchen
it was fun for my brief visit
to compare experiences, flavors and management.
Since there were no other people at the community
I was fortunate enough to tag along with Leona to a
nearby village, Mihuatlan
for a shopping trip.
Also, I was allowed to take a video of a live nude demonstration of
how to take a Latin Shower
and
a nude demonstration of
how to make artisan vinegar,
while Tommy is greatly patient with my never ending questions,
he spent a lot of time explaining to me about the passion behind his and Leona’s inspiration,
Fuck For Forest
.
He also explains many plants
and
the gallery of sexually explicit art.
As a result, I have much material that I am excited
to share with you over the next several posts.
Which topic should I start with? There are so many good ones.
I can’t decide so I am going to jump over and give you an update to
where exactly I am right now which will include the latest
to my
Award Winning Travel Story,
Buying Back My Kuna
and
Should I Marry the Kuna? stories.
The blogs I am posting are about 6 weeks behind where I am in the present.
